Neogel® 8373-W-9735 is an iso/Neopentylglycol gelcoat which has a combination of important characteristics: easy application, good resistance to long immersion in water (good blister resistance), excellent weather ability (less yellowing), air release, good mechanical properties, conforms USA ANSI-Z-124-1, approved by DNV Italia and Italian RINA. Applications
Neogel® 8373-W-XXXX UV is pre-accelerated thixotropic, ready for use and available in a wide range of colours, in the following types:
• Spray type (Neogel® 8373-W-XXXX UV)
• Brush type (Neogel® 8373-W-XXXX UVH)
It can also be supplied in a standard or additional versions on request:
• Spray (Paraffinated)
• Brush (Paraffinated)
The Spray type can be applied with conventional equipment with these recommended settings:
• Spray gun (nozzle φ 2.0-3.5 mm, pressure 4-5 bar)
• Airless equipment (nozzle types: 18/40-21/40)
In order to obtain optimum performance it is advisable to operate as follows:
• Temperature between 18℃ and 25℃
• Cure with recommended MEKP* 50% solution, adjust amount between 1.0-2.5%
• Thickness of the film 600-800g/m²

Neogel® 8373-W-9735 is a strong fit for marine and water-immersion composite parts where blister resistance and weathering performance are critical, such as boat hulls, swimming pools, sanitary ware and furniture requiring good weatherability. Choose the spray type (Neogel® 8373-W-XXXX UV) for production spray application, or the brush type (Neogel® 8373-W-XXXX UVH) for repair and touch-up work. Paraffinated versions are available on request for applications requiring reduced styrene emission during cure. Packaging and Shipping
Neogel 8373-W-9735 is available in about 22 kg packages, with bulk supply options for large-volume buyers and a wide range of colors on request. It should be stored in the original closed packaging at a temperature not exceeding 20℃, out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources, offering a stability of 3 months from dispatch date under these conditions (2 months for AFAST versions or black/dark colors). The product has a Flash Point of >21℃ and is flammable. We ship globally by sea and air freight, with COA and MSDS provided for every shipment.
