ENGUARDTM TOBY Gel coat additives (including paraffin) are aromatic hydrocarbon products. They can be used in combination with gel coat to make topcoat, which can be sprayed directly on the surface of fiberglass. It cures quickly , has a smooth surface, is easy to grind and polish, and can maintain the same color as the original gel coat.
Applicaiton
ENGUARDTM TOBY Gel coat additives (including paraffin wax) should be added to the unsaturated polyester resin gel coat at room temperature and mixed thoroughly to repair the surface of FRP products. The amount added to the gel coat is 1.5-2%. The paraffin solution will crystallize when the temperature is below 10°C.
