Trigonox® 122-C80 may be used as an initiator for the polymerization of styrene. Trigonox® 122-C80 is a difunctional peroxide. Under equivalent reaction conditions, polymerization times may be reduced by as much as 10% when compared to those generated by monofunctional peroxides with the same activity. Trigonox® 122-C80 can be successfully applied as an initiator for the (co)polymerization of low density ethylene. Trigonox® 122-C80 may also be used as an initiator for the (co)polymerization of acrylonitrile, acrylates and methacrylates.
