Product Description
SWANCOR CP95 is a primer for lining concrete, which provides strong adhesion to concrete, excellent chemical resistance and good interlaminar adhesion to laminating polyester or vinylester resins.
USE Before applying CP95, the following properties of concrete must be confirmed.
a. Aging time is longer than 30 days
b. Water content is lower than 8%
c. Compression strength is larger than 3000 psi
d. Adequate surface treatment.
2. Wood trowel is recommended to use on the final finish for concrete.
3. Adequate surface treatment can be achieved by the following methods for removing the no-strength laitance layer of concrete, if metal trowel was used on the final finish for concrete.
a. Chemical method：Romoving laitance by 10~12% HCl, following to wash by water
b. Sand blasting
c. Mechanical methods
4. After SWANCOR CP95 is applied to substrate, laminate should be constructed Between 4 hours and 7 days .If it is tack-free, the surface of primer should be roughed before you laminate.
5. The gel time of SWANCOR CP95 is affected primarily by catalyst concentration and temperature. The variations of cure characteristics may be caused by the variations of catalyst, humidity, pigment, fillers and other additives. It is recommended that the fabricator check the cure characteristics for a small quantity resin under operating conditions.
6. SWANCOR CP95 contain organic solvent (styrene). Keep away from heat, spark and flame.
7. SWANCOR CP95 is a potential reactive chemical. Please store it in dark and keep away from heat and sunshine.
