Mold Preparation
For best results, all waxes, sealants, scrubbers, and other release agent residues must be thoroughly cleaned. You can choose deawa®577S mold cleaner, deawa®553S mold cleaner, or other cleaning solvents for cleaning.
Application Method
(Refer to the product safety data sheet before use)Deawa®DS-13 sealing agent can be applied at room temperature using a clean, lint-free cloth (nonwoven fabric should not be used as Deawa’s solvent will dissolve the adhesive in nonwoven fabrics).
1. Use a clean, lint-free cloth to apply the sealing agent to the mold, then immediately use another clean, lint-free cloth to spread it from the outside in, ensuring that the film formed by the sealing agent on the mold is a continuous, even thin layer.
2. It is recommended to repeat the above steps and apply two layers, with a 15-minute interval between applications. (For new molds, apply two additional layers of sealing agent.)
3. After applying the final layer of sealing agent, cure at room temperature for 30 minutes before applying the release agent.
Storage
Deawa® DS-13 sealing agent should be used in a well-ventilated environment. Store in a dry, cool place. When not in use, keep the lid sealed.
