Nouryon Doubles Production of Perkadox® 14 & Trigonox® 101

Nouryon, a global leader in polymer ingredients, has doubled the production capacity of its Perkadox® 14 and Trigonox® 101 organic peroxide products to 6,000 tons each. These essential products are widely used to modify polymer properties, crosslink rubbers and thermoplastics, and enhance the performance of recycled polypropylene (R-PP), enabling applications previously reserved for virgin plastics.

“This expansion demonstrates our commitment to supporting customer growth across the entire polymer cycle. Demand for improving recycled polypropylene properties continues to rise due to increasing consumer awareness and stricter regulations,” said Alain Rynwalt, Senior Vice President, Performance Materials at Nouryon.

This expansion is part of Nouryon’s ongoing investment in its manufacturing network in China. Previous projects include a greenfield organic peroxide facility in Tianjin and a tert-Butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) and tert-Butyl alcohol (TBA) production facility in Ningbo, strengthening the company’s position in the Asia Pacific market.
