Atlac® 430YT resin is resistant to corrosion by various acids, alkalis, bleaches and organic compounds, especially suitable for chimney and chimney lining in FRP pipe system. It is also suitable for equipment, building boards and floor materials that need to be equipped with no-fire conditions to deal with air and hot gas mixtures. The resin is designed for ease of fabrication using hand lay-up, spray-up, filament winding, RTM and pultrusion techniques. Additives such as antimony trioxide can be added to further improve the flame retardant performance, on condition that not affecting the processing performance.
